Webinar: Flex Power Designer supports AMD-Xilinx Power Estimator

“How to use Flex Power Designer together with AMD-Xilinx Power Estimator (XPE) to design and optimize your FPGA power solution”

We held a webinar on 5 November that provided a full explanation on how our Flex Power Designer software tool can be used together with AMD-Xilinx Power Estimator to design and optimize power solutions, especially those using Xilinx FPGAs.

Release 4.0 of Flex Power Designer has introduced a much-anticipated feature to directly import AMD-Xilinx .xpe files. This allows electronics designers to optimize the best overall power solution according to application and specific preferences.

The webinar session, which lasted around 45 minutes and included a live Q&A session, was moderated by Phil Goff, Regional Sales & Marketing EMEA, and incorporated a hands-on demonstration by Bob Cantrell, Senior Field Applications Engineer AMCS, of how to import AMD-Xilinx Power Estimator .xpe files, optimize the best modular solution for each rail, and configure your entire power system – including sequencing, phase spreading and loop compensation.
