PUC-BG series

The PUC-BG series is a range of isolated, unregulated 2 W DC/DC converters suitable for the Industrial & Transportation markets, specifically designed for gate drive applications for IGBT, Si and SiC devices.

Housed in an industry standard SIP7 package measuring 19.5×9.8×12.5 mm (0.77×0.385×0.49 in), the series is available with fixed input voltages of 12 V, 15 V & 24 V, and offer various dual asymmetric output voltages suitable for the majority of different turn-on and turn-off gate voltages. They offer an input to output isolation level of 6000 V_dc, reinforced insulation with a 250 V_ac working voltage, and no minimum load is required for operation. Isolation capacitance values are typically <6 pF, a critical requirement in such high dv/dt applications.

Efficiency levels are up to 81%, and operating temperature range is up to -40°C to +100°C. Additional features include continuous output short-circuit protection and safety compliance to EN/UL62368-1. MTBF is as high as 13Mhrs.
