BMR454 series
132-190W Eighth Brick Isolated Digital DC/DC Converter
The BMR454 is our 1st generation of digital isolated DC/DC converter in an eighth brick format. They offer a Vout range between 3.0-6.7V and wide Vin ranges from 36-75V typically needed in telecom applications.
These converters can deliver up to 190W and have a high efficiency up to 94.5% typical at 48Vin .
The BMR454 series can operate over a temperature range from -40°C up to +125°C, and offers an MTBF of nearly 3 million hours.
Standard features for this model include remote control, remote sense, over voltage protection, over current protection and over temperature protection. It offers a digital interface using the PMBus standard, which enables features such as monitoring of key parameters, power good and dynamic bus voltage capabilities.
The BMR454 includes a PMBus® interface for digital Configuration, Monitoring and Control, and is supported by our own Flex Power Designer tool.
Evaluation of the BMR454 can be performed using the ROA1283835 Eval Board.
