BMR457 series
251-300W Eighth Brick Isolated Digital DC/DC Converter
BMR457 is the 2nd generation of digital isolated DC/DC converter in an eighth brick format. They offer a Vout range between 6.9-13.2V and wide Vin ranges from 36-75V and 40-60V typically needed in telecom and datacom applications.
These converters can deliver up to 300W and have a high efficiency up to 95.2% typical at Vin 48V.
The BMR457 series can operate over a temperature range from -40°C up to +125°C and offers an MTBF of nearly 3 million hours.
Standard features for this model include remote control, remote sense, over voltage protection, over current protection and over temperature protection. It offers a digital interface using the PMBus® standard, which enables features such as monitoring of key parameters, power good and dynamic bus voltage capabilities. Additional features include paralleling support through droop load sharing.
The BMR457 is supported by our own Flex Power Designer tool.
Evaluation of the BMR457 can be performed using the ROA1283835 Eval Board.
